Dear reader,

Here are 4 little vintage touches to bring some extra warmth, personality and charm to your autumn table. ✨

Sometimes, all it takes is the right setting for a little vintage find to truly shine. Take this lovely decorative plate from Swedish Rörstrand, for example. With its charming illustrations of traditional Swedish folk costumes, it brings both personality and a touch of cosy Nordic autumn charm to a beautifully set table.

It's also perfect for serving little accompaniments – such as a slice of lemon and a pinch of flaky sea salt alongside a fish dish.

These little plates come in many different designs, so there's plenty of room to mix and match.

And in general, Swedish decorative plates are simply perfect for creating that cosy Nordic autumn atmosphere.

It's often the little details that make the biggest difference. And something as simple as a few extra small bowls, pretty sugar bowls, porcelain cups or little jugs for serving lingonberries, pickled red onions, compote, feta and other accompaniments can make a surprising difference to the overall table setting. It's also a wonderful opportunity to bring out those old pieces of porcelain and give them a new purpose.

It doesn't have to be expensive, and everything certainly doesn't have to come from the same collection. In fact, half the fun is finding pieces that bring a little variety to the table while complementing each other in colour and style. That way, all those little bowls and jugs can add plenty of charm and personality to your table setting. ✨

We recently had an interior designer visit our shop, and one of her best tips was wonderfully simple: Mix your materials!

Try using some of the lovely stoneware bowls from Royal Copenhagen to serve side dishes and accompaniments. They add a little extra variety to the table and create a cosy balance between rustic charm and elegance.

Few things are more perfect for an autumn table than a beautiful vintage soup tureen! They're ideal for serving everything from warming soups to slow-cooked dishes and hearty stews, and they're practically decorations in their own right.

Here, we've chosen a lovely little tureen from the Blue fluted collection, but of course, tureens come in all sorts of sizes, shapes and patterns. So whether you're serving soup for the whole family or a cosy meal for two, there's plenty of opportunity to find one that's just right for your table.
