Among the latest arrivals are several pendants and table lamps by Holmegaard. Designed by Michael Bang and Sidse Werner and produced at Fyens Glasværk in the 1980s, these lamps are among those design classics that remain highly sought after. Their clean, era-defining lines and opal glass, which lends the light a soft and gentle quality, go a long way in explaining their enduring appeal.
They are also the kind of lighting that tends to find new homes quickly, not least because they sit so beautifully in contemporary Nordic interiors and stylish homes.

Rare figurines from Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl
|
|
These figures depict girls in traditional dress from different regions of Denmark and bring together cultural history and fine craftsmanship in a particularly elegant way. Executed in overglaze decoration, the colours and details of the costumes take on an especially vivid presence, and it is precisely this combination of age, subject matter and artistry that makes them so highly sought after among collectors of Danish figurative porcelain.
Examples include Faroe, Jutland, Funen and Schleswig.

Royal Copenhagen Easter Eggs
|
|
The Royal Copenhagen’s annual Easter eggs have already begun to find new homes after we recently acquired a larger batch spanning several different years. Their motifs range from flowers and birds to butterflies, branches and animals, and over time they have become a beloved part of spring decorating for many collectors and admirers of Danish design.
Tip: If the year you are looking for is not currently available, you can sign up on the individual product page to receive an automatic notification and be among the first to know when it becomes available again.

There is always something new happening at DPH Trading. Items are constantly arriving in our collection – from rare finds to small everyday favourites – and sometimes they find a new home before they even make it onto the website.
That is why we regularly share glimpses from the shop on Facebook and Instagram: newly arrived pieces, special offers, inspiration, and a little behind the scenes from our daily life as antique and design dealers.
If you would like to follow along, we would truly appreciate it. It helps us more than you might think, and it is the best way to discover many of the interesting pieces we come across. And it also makes it much more fun for the two of us in marketing to film and share all the beautiful things hidden throughout our collection.
