Easter is just around the corner... Are you ready?

 

I have always enjoyed Easter. For me, Easter is all about time with the family and spending time in my summer house. Easter takes place in mid April this year, which means that in Denmark we may be lucky to experience some wonderful spring weather. We gather around the Danish tradition of "gækkebreve", which is a teaser poem, that roughly translates as “snowdrop letters”, we decorate with Easter decorations, and then there is the Easter egg hunt.

I love Easter eggs! And even though my favorites are made of chocolate, the Royal Copenhagen porcelain eggs are a close second.

 

Royal Copenhagen's Easter eggs are part of their spring collection. With the beautiful flower motifs, the eggs are truly welcoming spring by showing flower gardens and enlarged flower petals around the rounded surface.

In this year's Easter egg collection you can find motifs of daffodils, wild chives, lilac crocuses, and tulips.
